Every fourth Saturday of each month we distribute food to families in need. Our volunteers arrive at nine in the morning and begin bagging groceries. At ten we open the doors to our sanctuary and greet our clients. Each family receives a numbered ticket which later fixes their place in line when we dismiss them to get their groceries. After everyone is seated we hold a short worship service and share the Word of God. Following the Word we pray for people individually.
Individuals and groups are invited to join our volunteers. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants gain some exposure to urban ministry. We also offer seminars for groups who wish to learn about our ministry and the importance of Christian works which reflect God's gracious character.
Your Church or a Sunday School Class can help us by sending 150 food items for our monthly food program. Or you can send us money to purchase food items.
