Help us Collect Food

Because we share the Gospel with every person that receives food we cannot purchase food from Gleaners food bank. Click here for explanation So we need food and food resources without strings attached.

We ask that individuals or groups consider sending food in quantities of fifty. We need:

Soup, canned vegetables, pasta, rice, beans, and canned fruit that we can put into bags to give to families in need.

Then we will be able to use our financial resources to buy what we need to complete the bags of groceries.

Volunteers are Welcome

We help people in our community by giving them groceries once a month at our food program. We also worship with them and share the Bread of Life, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the years thousands of families have been helped, and more importantly have seen firsthand the compassion of Christ. Some of our most faithful members first met us and Jesus through coming to get some food.

Those who come to volunteer help us to bag the food and distribute it. But what is more important they help to invite the Spirit of Christ through prayers and worship. And while the food we offer may satisfy a basic need for a couple of days, the Gospel we offer has the potential to change their hearts and lives for all eternity.

Schedule

Every 4th Saturday of each month (except Nov. & Dec. when it is on the 3rd Saturday) Our volunteers come at 9:00 Am when they go to our basement and bag food that we purchased for distribution. At 10:00 AM the doors of the sanctuary are opened and our guests come in. They receive a ticket which holds their place in line. We begin a short worship service at 10:20 where we praise God, pray for the people who are present, and present the Gospel. Our volunteers join us for the service and help to invite the Spirit of Christ through their prayers and worship. Following the service the volunteers go down stairs to distribute the food. Numbers are called upstairs to send our guests down fifteen at a time.
