Accepting the Challenge

an urban ministry seminar

February 28th from 2pm to 6pm

.

During the seminar we will help attendees understand both the challenge that faces our inner cities and how we may best respond to that challenge. We will discuss the following:

          • Defining the urban context and its particular challenges.
          • The "Why" - Justice Matters because of God's desire that we display His character in a fallen world.
          • Spiritual dynamics of the urban context - and the need for the Church's active presence in places of need.
          • Sharing our faith across cultures.
          • Being a resource - far beyond financial, Christians provide a wide range of much needed experience and knowledge.

Who should come?  Anyone interested in missions to needy societies.  Anyone who volunteers as a mentor, tutor, or in a food pantry or other compassion directed ministries.  Anyone who has a desire to do ministry in the city.   If this is you - call us and reserve your spot in our next seminar.

These seminars are conducted by Dr. Randy Brown and members of our ministry team: Cedrick Jones, Steve Bare, Jeff Hunt, and Meghan Smith.
