Tutoring
A great way to show God's compassion is to share our intellectual resources and our life experience with the children living in Detroit. Where most of the children do not finish high school, let alone go on to secondary education. Our hope is to make a difference with our children by encouraging them to do their homework, stay in school, and look at the benefits that come with higher education.
When
We tutor on Monday evenings in the Fall and Winter. Our evening begins at 6:20 with worship and a devotion. At 6:40 we begin tutoring until 7:30 when we break for activities and snacks. At 7:55 we gather together to dismiss.
